Karen A. Rolcik is an attorney with the law firm of Schwartz, Manes, Ruby & Slovin. Karen’s practice focuses on representing individuals in the areas of estate and retirement planning; probate and trust administration; income, estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax planning; business formation, transactions, taxation and succession planning; and charitable giving. She is admitted to practice in Ohio and Texas. Ms. Rolcik is admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court, U.S. Court of Claims, U.S. Court of appeals for the Federal Circuit, and U.S. District Courts in Ohio and Texas. Ms. Rolcik is also a certified mediator and neutral in the State of Texas.
Ms. Rolcik has been certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law. Ms. Rolcik is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Cincinnati Bar Association (chairman Women Lawyers Committee), State Bar of Texas and Cincinnati Estate Planning Council. Ms. Rolcik has lectured on a variety of topics to various community, professional and legal organizations including the Cincinnati Bar Association, the Cleveland Estate Planning Council, the Dallas Bar Association, Lincoln Financial Advisors, and the Visiting Nurses Association. Her volunteer activities include the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, American Brain Tumor Association, and various pet rescue and animal welfare organizations.
Ms. Rolcik is a graduate of Butler University and the Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana.
