Donald B. Hordes
Donald B. Hordes has been a shareholder in the law firm of Schwartz Manes Ruby & Slovin since 1988, and serves as the Chairman of the firm's Employment Law Department. He represents employers in all aspects of employment law and practices before the National Labor Relations Board, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Ohio Civil Rights Commission, and other federal and state administrative agencies.
Donald also assists companies in the development of comprehensive employment documents such as Employee Handbooks, Employment Agreements, Drug Testing Policies, and Severance Agreements. He has lectured frequently throughout Southwest Ohio on a wide variety of employment law topics.
He began private practice in Cincinnati in 1981, after serving as an attorney for the National Labor Relations Board for nine years, first in Washington D.C. and later as a trial attorney in the Cincinnati Regional office. Prior to that he served as a Captain in the United States Air Force's JAG Corps.
